Rachelle’s journey with yoga began in 2015—or perhaps, as she likes to say, yoga found her. From the very first practice, she discovered a profound connection with her body and movement, exploring both stillness and challenge during a time of rapid life changes. What could have been unsettling instead became a space of grounding and calm.
Though her path with yoga was not always linear, it returned at a pivotal moment in her life—when she was in the driver’s seat of her own changes. As a practicing clinician, Rachelle recognized the powerful synergy between yoga and her work with clients navigating depression, PTSD, anxiety, psychosis, and other mental health challenges. This realization inspired her to deepen her own practice and, in 2024, she completed her Yoga Alliance certification, teaching both Hatha and Power Vinyasa. Today, her classes often blend the two styles into a fluid “dance” of breath, movement, posture, and stillness, inviting students to reconnect with their bodies through somatic awareness.
Through her extensive training and clinical experience, Rachelle has witnessed the transformative impact of yoga and meditation in helping individuals reconnect with themselves—especially in a world that often encourages operating on autopilot or in survival mode. While her heart was first cultivated in the therapy room, it has expanded to the yoga classroom, where she guides students with care, co-regulating through movement, breath, and connection, helping each person find their own sense of balance and presence.
