Meet Katie: Blending Stillness & Strength

Katie’s journey into yoga was inspired by the profound way the practice transformed her own life. Yoga became a pathway to slowing down, finding peace in the present moment, and moving through the world with greater awareness and compassion. That personal transformation sparked a desire to teach — to help others discover the same sense of balance, grounding, and connection between body, mind, and spirit.

Blending Stillness and Strength

Specializing in Yin Yoga and Power Vinyasa, Katie offers a thoughtfully balanced approach that honors both stillness and strength. Yin Yoga invites students into deep, meditative holds that support connective tissue health and nervous system regulation, while Power Vinyasa provides an empowering, breath-driven flow that builds resilience, confidence, and energy. Together, these practices create a well-rounded experience that meets students where they are and supports sustainable growth.

Anatomy-Informed and Accessible Teaching

As a certified orthotic fitter, Katie brings a strong understanding of anatomy, joint mechanics, and long-term body wellness into every class. Her teaching style emphasizes:

  • Safe and effective alignment

  • Mindful movement and transitions

  • Sustainable practices that support longevity

This approach makes her classes accessible and supportive for all levels and body types, encouraging students to move with intention rather than force.

Katie is currently completing her 300-hour teacher training, working toward becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher E-500, and remains deeply committed to continuing education and lifelong learning.

Yoga On and Off the Mat

Katie believes yoga is for everyone, and that the lessons learned on the mat — patience, presence, and resilience — extend far beyond the studio. Her classes invite students to cultivate awareness that supports not only physical well-being, but also emotional balance and clarity in daily life.

Outside the studio, Katie enjoys traveling, creating art, and spending time with her family — always exploring new ways to live with intention, curiosity, and joy.
